“ The ambiance was nice as there was a lot of privacy feel in the booths. You get to choose which soup base you want and they have an unlimited selection of seafoods like crabs, shrimp, clams, oysters, meats, vegetables, sashimi, and durian surprisingly. You can go pick up drinks like soy milk, iced tea, Snapple in the refrigerator. They have a sauce station that people can choose different condiments to try from. Service was good with servers getting you want you need and refill soup stock. ”
“ highly recommend to use the online waitlist (use google), it will help save lots of time! the service was quick and friendly! Lots of delish food options (love all the meat options) soup base was would come back!!! ”
“ Came here for the first time recently. Place is pretty big with lots of seating. Came on a weekday around 630pm, need to add yourself to a waitlist if it gets busy, and they text u back when the table is ready. Overall, there is a huge list of food you can order. There's ready to eat food like chicken wings, snails, sashimi, jellyfish, etc. They were decent tasting. There's also a long list of raw food to cook in the pot including snowcrabs, different types of shrimp, different cuts of beef, etc. In terms of variety, this place definitely takes the cake, compared to other hot pot places. Drinks like soda, Wong lo Kat, soy milk, bottled water were also included in the price. The hotpot is a communal pot, not individual pots. And this is why I wasn't too crazy about it. I prefer individual pots so I know what I'm throwing in and what I'm eating. The soup was also slow to boil so that took away time from eating. The 2 hour limit definitely felt like it came too quick. Service is decent. They asked us to change plates quite often. ”
“ I have been here twice, and both times it made me shit blood. But the taste is unbeatable! ”
“ Food: This is, in my opinion, the best AYCE hot pot restaurant in NYC in terms of quality, taste, and variety. There is a huge list of menu items all included in the AYCE price of $60. The higher price point is justified by the variety of seafood items, all you can eat durian, all you can drink beverages, and simply the huge variety of food offered. The only thing that costs extra is their special desserts which is not worth getting in my opinion. Small cups of Hershey's ice cream is included at the end of the meal at no additional cost. When you first order, you will be given the option of a few special items (also included with the meal). The specials offered to us were lobster, sea cucumber, or a sashimi platter. Each table is allowed to select one special item. We selected the sashimi platter. Everything was very fresh and delicious. There are so many different soup bases to choose from. The best soup base here is the chicken and fish maw soup. Other unique soup bases offered include coconut chicken, medicinal, pork bone, and satay. There are about 10 different soup bases to choose from. The wide variety of hot pot items included in the meal are meats (beef, lamb, pork, chicken), seafood (crab, clam, crab legs, shrimp, oyster), fishballs, handmade shrimp paste, tofu, vegetables, cold and hot appetizers, noodles, rice cakes, and so much more. They offer a lot of unique seafood that you usually don't find in hot pot restaurants, including mantis prawns and live shrimp. There are a few refrigerators well stocked with a variety of beverages, including water, soda, soy milk, Snapple, and other Asian beverages. Next to the sauce bar is also fresh fruit, including strawberries, melon, and lychees. Service: Service is excellent! Someone is always collecting empty dishes and offering to change your plate for you. The place is well-staffed so someone is always around if you need something or if you need to order more food. Food comes out quickly as well. Ambiance: The restaurant is very modern, bright, and comfortable. They have booths as well as round tables for larger groups. When you enter, there is a spacious waiting area with small bottles of water and snacks/candy provided. I highly recommend this restaurant! The higher price point is worth it, especially if you love different kinds of seafood. ”
“ This is an all you can eat buffet, but on the pricier side. It is about $60 per person without the tip included. The lighting makes the vibe and there's calm Chinese music playing. I have to say there is a lot of seafood options, so if you are a seafood lover, this place is a must. The hotpot itself does not boil as quick as I thought. The servers are also very nice and helpful. They checked up on us pretty frequently. The sauce bar is relatively clean, so that's a plus. I would say the floor is kind of slippery; it kind of felt like there was oil on the floor, so just be cautious when you're walking around. The drinks are also unlimited, with a variety of options. I was very full by the end of the 2 hour limit. If you pay with cash, you get a special dessert and ice cream. I would definitely come back again. ”
“ We came here on a Friday night, and it was packed all throughout dinner service! We came here at 6:30 pm and were seated since we signed up for the wait list through a website! We 100% recommend getting on their waitlist because they are always full, especially on a Friday night or on weekends. You first choose your soup base, and there are many to pick from! I personally love a spicy broth, so we had to get the butter spice broth. Both soup bases were really flavorful and they do refill your soup bases quite often. We ordered mostly seafood since we all came here for seafood hotpot, and wanted to try out all the different seafoods they had to offer. We got different types of clams, conch, king crab legs, different types of shrimp. They also had sashimi style- salmon, etc. We def ate our seafood's worth for this hotpot. They also have the regular things you order at hotpot like noodles, ramen, hotdog sausages, fish roe fish balls, crab stick, and loads of veggies. I would def come early and put your name on the waitlist. There was also a time limit to our table, as we were given 2 hours to eat. They do let you know when your time is up. Tip: If you pay cash, there are many things you can get complimentary, such as desserts, drinks (we got the fresh coconut water in the coconut)! ”
“ My friends and I journeyed out to Chong Qing Wharf recently for some hot pot and really enjoyed our experience. While it is a little pricier compared to other spots, the quality is worth it. The meat and seafood were very high quality, and the staff was very attentive. It's all you can eat, which left us feeling very full (in the best way) afterwards. I even got to try Durian for the first time! While there were plenty of tables, it can still be a long wait, so I recommend coming early! ”
“ Did I find my new favorite (seafood) hotpot spot in Brooklyn? Though it may sound pricey at first ($75pp incl tax + tip) it's actually a great deal for all the seafood that you get on top of the unlimited meats, veg, apps, drinks, etc. My partner and I stuffed ourselves silly and practically waddled our way out of the restaurant last weekend. When we got there at 5:30pm on a Saturday, it was still early so definitely not as packed as other reviews say. We also joined the waitlist about 15 min before we arrived so we were seated immediately in one of the comfortable private booths. They also took our orders immediately, and by the time we returned to our table after getting our sauces and drinks, everything had already arrived. Such great and quick service! Did I mention that we also got a complimentary whole lobster? No refills on that but not complaining - we got plenty of crab legs, sashimi, and premium wagyu slices. I loved the coconut chicken broth as well as the tomato broth. Servers came by to refill when it got low, and were also constantly changing our plates. We got the free desserts since we paid with cash though we were pretty sure we couldn't fit any more food in our bodies. My biggest regret was going with the tempting bottles of soy drink - that probably filled me up more than I'd like. The complimentary plum juice was rly refreshing and I should've just stuck with that. Can't wait to indulge here again next time. ”
